Homemade Post-Sun Skincare Recipes
Summer can be such a difficult time to keep your skin looking its best. That’s why I asked skincare experts to share their favorite summertime recipes for using everyday items around the house.
Joanna Vargas, founder of Joanna Vargas Salon, Skin Care Sanctuary on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue shared these three homemade recipes for toning, cleansing and moisturizing summer skin:
Face Scrub: 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1/2 cup corn meal, 1/4 cup Grapefruit juice. Cool in the fridge to thicken.
Hydrating Mask: 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 avocado, 1/4 honey. Apply with a sea sponge.
