So, I asked experts to share their advice for safely getting Vitamin D from the sun. Here are two tips they shared:

Start Early

A minimum of 30 minutes a day outside without sunscreen or sunglasses, the earlier in the day the better. If someone burns easily, the 30 minute goal needs to be reached over a few weeks’ time in order to allow the skin to build up it’s own natural defense of melanin.
