Menopause Diet Milkshake Recipes
There are a number of foods we can eat to keep a proper nutritional balance in our bodies that will help us manage menopause symptoms. Check out the following Menopause Diet recipes to make a tasty, healthy milkshake and learn why their ingredients are so good for you.
Menopause Milkshake
Ingredients:
Soy-based protein powder – improved insulin regulation; weight loss; bone health; heart health; and decreased frequency of hot flashes and night sweats.
Ground Flax seed – high in Omega-3 fatty acids; protects bones; defends against breast cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease .
Greek Yogurt – high in protein and calcium.
Strawberries- provides boron, a mineral that seems to increase the body’s ability to hold onto estrogen.
Directions:
Combine 1 scoop Tropical Creme Body FX Beverage Mix*, 4 oz Low-fat Greek Yogurt, 1 tsp ground flax seed, 5-6 frozen strawberries. Put frozen strawberries into blender; add yogurt, flax seed, and protein powder. Blend to desired consistency, adding a little water if necessary.
*This is my preferred soy-based protein powder,may be substituted with another of your choice.

Blueberry and Flax Milkshake
Blueberry – Contains Antioxidants that are great in combating cell damage caused by free radicals
Flax Seed – Helps Fight Menopausal Symptoms. It’s also good for the heart, fights cancer, constipation and diabetes
Ingredients & Directions:
1 cup skim milk.
2/3 cup blueberries.
4 packets Stevia (the only artificial sweetener we recommend).
3 Tbsp. freshly ground flax meal.
2 Tbsp. freshly ground raw sunflower seeds.
1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin.
2 tsp. vanilla.
Combine all these ingredients together in a blender and serve cold.
