Do You Know the Side Effects of Natural Progesterone Cream Part I

There’s evidence building that most women in our culture are estrogen-dominant.  Using a progesterone cream goes a long way towards balancing hormones, which usually decreases a woman’s risk of breast cancer, improves PMS, and normalizes her cycle.

However, like most good things in life, if one uses too much there are side effects of natural progesterone cream and complications can develop that disrupt hormone balance.

The major factor causing side effects of natural progesterone cream is that progesterone is fat soluble and once applied to the skin will store itself in the fat tissue. When the product is first used, there is no problem as the fat stores are very low but as time goes on side effects of natural progesterone cream show themselves as the cream accumulates. The accumulation of the cream actually contributes to disruptions in the adrenal hormones such as DHEA, cortisol, and testosterone. While progesterone cream can be a very useful tool, it needs to be used very cautiously.

To minimize natural progesterone cream side effects, there are three basic factors:
Diet: This is a significant topic and an excellent resource to explore the diet issue can be found at http://www.hormones-beauty-health.com/pageAppendix03.html.

Rest: It’s imperative one gets to bed by 10 p.m. when using a natural progesterone cream.  If routinely going to be after 10 p.m., one’s biorhythyms will be disrupted.

Stress: Much is now being written about reducing natural progesterone cream side effects and the actual symptoms of menopause through stress reduction. A new emerging field called Applied Psychoneurobiology (APN) demonstrates specific techniques for stress reduction. Perhaps APN’s strongest recommendation is the use of journaling and the use of reflecting on previous day’s entries to find daily stressors and work to eliminate them.

Finally, the use of adrenal evaluation helps refine the actual level of natural progesterone cream that should be used to effectively offset the side effects of natural progesterone cream and actually offset symptoms of menopause. This work is being pioneered in San Diego with the intent of actually measuring salivary hormone concentrations.

One of the products that many of our readers are using, with minimal natural progesterone cream side effects, is PhytoProlief, which can be found at www.ihd.myarbonne.com.

In summary, natural progesterone cream side effects is a new and developing area with much opportunity for future development.

Stay tuned for Part II, the actual side effects of natural progesterone cream will be discussed in greater detail – to be published shortly
