Got The Holiday Blues

As the holidays approach, you may be looking for the right gift for a special friend or maybe you need something to brighten up your mood.  You should think about checking out the special holiday products that can only be purchased during the holidays at www.ihd.myarbonne.com (simply click on “Shop Online”, then click on “Holiday 07” in the left side navigation).

My personal favorites are the Almond products – there’s a Body Oil Spray, a Candle, or the set of Body Wash, Body Buff, and Body Velvet.

Got The Holiday Blues

There are also many other products to choose from.  Don’t wait, they’re only available through the end of December.

Product of The Month

This month’s Product of The Month is Arbonne’s Clear Advantage Acne System.  If you know someone who is plagued with acne issues, this is a fantastic system and is highly recommended.

The system is comprised of 4 products (Acne Wash, Refining Toner, Acne Lotion, and Skin Support Supplement); they can be found at www.ihd.myarbonne.com

These four products work together from the inside out, which is the only way to effectively control acne.  In the beginning you may notice a few more pimples, however, keep in mind it’s because the system is working to clear all the toxins from inside your body and the only place they have to go out is through your skin.  Once this initial cleansing is complete, you skin will start to clear up and it will stay that way.

Hair Care Tips

This month we would like to pass on some hair care tips that are used by the celebrities.

Lots of Ringlets

  1. Start by wetting your hair before going to bed.  If you have coarse hair, you can apply a setting lotion or curl gel; if your hair is fine, use mousse.
  2. Part your hair into 4 sections.  Within each section make small twists or braids.
  3. In the morning, pull out the twists or braids and spray on a finishing spray.

Waves

  1. Make a deep side part.
  2. Apply mousse, then blow dry with a round brush.
  3. Piece-by-piece, wrap the lower half of your hair around a 1” curling iron and mist on hairspray.

Long and Lush

  1. Apply thickening spray at the roots.
  2. Blow-dry hair with a round brush, wrapping sections around Velcro rollers as you go.
  3. When the hair cools, remove the rollers and wind sections around a curling iron.
  4. Gently stretch each curl (while it’s hot) to relax it into an “S” wave and apply hairspray.

Shiny and Straight

  1. Start by using a rich conditioner.
  2. A straightening balm can be used (start 2” away from your roots to avoid too-flat hair).
  3. Blow-dry smooth, then run a flat-iron over the bottom half.
  4. Finish with shine cream on your ends.
