ANTI-AGING SKIN CARE PRODUCT

Anti-aging skin care product is a term used today to market cosmetics.  To identify a genuine anti-aging skin care product, you need to be a chemist; it’s unlikely you will readily recognize the benefits or safety concerns associated with anti-aging skin care product ingredients.

Because every anti-aging skin care product is a produced chemical, the law requires a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).  The MSDS list a summary of the chemical facts and summarizes hazards to human health, first aid measures, and precautions.  As an anti-aging skin care product, the MSDS laws apply and, fortunately, lists any other names by which the chemical is known.  Anti-aging skin care product chemicals can be investigated by entering its name into any search engine.  While some companies that make a line of anti-aging skin care product offerings use ingredients that are safe enough to eat, other companies that advertise a line of anti-aging skin care product use known carcinogens or developmental toxins like coaltar or lead acetate.  The best way to understand what are truly organic anti-aging skin care product lines, is to carefully read the ingredient list on the product label and investigate any unknown chemicals.

Unfortunately, anti-aging skin care product marketers often use misleading statements which suggest synthetic chemicals are natural.  One example of an anti-aging skin care product line containing a dangerous chemical is the use of DEA, which is a known human carcinogen.  Always check products advertised as an all-natural anti-aging skin care product to see if DEA is on the ingredient list; DEA is a foaming agent commonly found in shampoo.

The USDA organic seal can be found on anti-aging skin care product lines that exclusively contain only organically produced ingredients.  To qualify as an anti-aging skin care product, organic labeling must contain at least 95% organic ingredients.  If an anti-aging skin care product claims that it’s made with organic ingredients, the anti-aging skin care product must contain at least 70% of organic ingredients.  Be careful, however, because the other 30% could contains products such as DEA.
